A freebie Lightroom User Preset where you can apply to your off-camera lighting images.

This preset can speed up your post-processing workflow by applying to your off-camera lighting images. I call this Strobist-Muted preset as this effect is being used by a lot of “strobist” around the world with a dramatic desaturated color tone.

INSTALLING THE PRESET:

1. In Lightroom, locate the Presets panel.
2. Right+Click on User Presets then select Import
3. Locate the file “ Strobist – Muted.lrtemplate”
4. Click on the Imported User Preset to apply to your current image. Done!

BEST SCENARIO:
To get the most out of this effect, this is best applied on an image shot in an under-exposed ambient light, or on a sunset.
